PL2303HX USB to Serial Controller

The PL2303HX provides a convenient solution for connecting an RS-232-like full-duplex asynchronous serial device to any Universal Serial Bus (USB) capable host.

Drivers​

  • Windows: PL2303HX (Rev A) is End-Of-Life and not supported in Windows 8/10/11 properly (Code 10 error). Requires older drivers (v3.3.2.102).
  • Linux: Supported natively by kernel (module pl2303).
  • macOS: May require drivers from Prolific.
