I remember it was back in junior high school, probably around eighth grade, when people in our class started using "shortened names." As I recall, the first one that appeared was "Zhi'er," and before long, everyone began calling each other by shortened names. I thought it was quite nice—it took less effort to call someone, and it saved a lot of breath and time.
So that's how "Wen'er" came about for me. I feel like being called that is actually quite endearing, and it sounds really nice too.
And 文儿 is simply Wen er, converted from Chinese pinyin (even though my pinyin has been bad since I was a kid, so consider this making up for it a bit.......).
And there is also another English word Win v. win Winner n. winner
If the e in Wener were pronounced as [i:], it would sound the same as Winner. Who wouldn't want to be a winner?
I suppose this also counts as holding onto my own dream.
All in all, I really like the name Wener and 文儿.
